- Volunteers are to treat your fellow volunteers, the property owners we work with, community groups who support us, and others you meet while volunteering, with courtesy and respect.
- At all times act in a manner that promotes and enhances the good reputation of BlazeAid;
- Show a positive consideration for our organisation by looking after our tools and equipment and those of the property owners we work with;
- Do not inappropriately take advantage of the facilities that are provided at the basecamps;
- Wear your BlazeAid name badge at all times when at the basecamp, working on a property or out on BlazeAid business;
- Everyone is to attend Morning Muster every day, unless it’s your day off;
- Sign in and out on the Daily Insurance form each day
- Do not drink alcohol before or during work
Volunteers liable to instant dismissal
Serious breaches of the following types of conduct could result in instant dismissal from BlazeAid, and your name placed on the list of people never to work at another base-camp
- Intoxication
- Illegal, illicit or recreational drug use
- Foul language
- Abusive language
- Harassment or bullying
- Negative attitudes
- Racism
- Loud/offensive behaviour
- Dishonesty
- Not being a team player
- Conducting themselves in such a manner that their behaviour is likely to bring discredit on the organisation
